Windermere St. Anne's School

Windermere St. Anne's School held their Sportsman's Dinner last night at the school.
The sports hall looked terrific as loads of work had been carried out with a marquee being erected inside and a new floor laid. A very nice black tie event for the students to receive their awards for sporting excellence over the last year.
I entertained everyone with close-up magic during dinner. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Thank you for a great night.

International Friendship Cafe

This was an unusual party for me. A group of international students at Lancaster University and their families.
The International Friendship Cafe is a place for them to chat and meet other students in a less formal and relaxed atmosphere. The evening was unusual for me as they requested a cabaret magic show instead of my usual close-up. I think that all went well though as I had lots of favorable comments after the show.

Rothay Manor

I had a quick dash from The Langdale Estate to Rothay Manor as they booked me for Illusions of the Mind.
I really enjoy performing this act it is great fun for me as well the audience.
At least everyone said they enjoyed it!
The guests at Rothey Manor were staying for a New Year break and the act was an after dinner event. Great fun, thank you everyone.

The Langdale Estate

Another visit to Langdale Estate on New Year's day.
This is a brilliant place to visit. High over Great Langdale in the Lake District, very picturesque.
I was entertaining the guests during dinner. Lots of people staying at the Langdale Estate and all enthusiastic about the magic. All the best for the new year, I hope to see you all again soon.

Castle Green Hotel

I had another repeat booking at The Castle Green Hotel this year. It was a house party with people staying for Christmas and New Year.
I was entertaining the guests during afternoon tea. Lots of people there that I had met in previous years and everyone was eager to see some new magic. Thank you Castle Green, have a great new year.

Cedar House School

I had a repeat booking from Cedar House School this year. Although I don't work at children's parties, the pupils at Cedar House are old enough to really enjoy the magic.
I had my work cut out a there were so many staff and pupils at the party but I think I showed everyone at least a little magic. Hope to see you again Cedar House.

Holker Hall

I went to Holker Hall for a staff party on the 22nd December. I love working at Holker as I always meet such nice people. The entrance was very impressive with huge braziers lighting the way.
here was an excellent band playing while I went round the tables with close-up magic. Thanks Holker.

The Lothersdale Hotel

Paul from The Lothersdale Hotel asked me to entertain his guests on Tuesday.
They were a coach party on holiday that were staying at the hotel as a pre Christmas break. I met a great crowd of people after they had eaten and were relaxing in the lounge. The Close-up magic went over really well.
