Damson Dene Hotel

I was invited to a school's staff Christmas party last night. It was held at The Damson Dene Hotel in the Lyth Valley. There were around 60 people and we had a terrific time with the magic and a disco. Everyone was enjoying themselves when I left at 10:45 for the drive home. Thank you for a great night.

Holker Hall

I was booked to entertain the guests at Holker Hall's Christmas party last night. The venue was at Holker and the place looked very magical as I arrived. All the driveway as lit by tiny flickering candles and huge braziers lit the entrance to the marquee and buildings. There were around 600 guests and the entertainment was wonderful. Not only talking about me here!!! There was a brilliant mime artist, a juggler and balloon modeller, a human statue, the ice queen from Narnia! and a great jazz band. Thanks Holker, I had a great time.

Fylde Update

After a late start due to an accident on the motorway, no Fylde members thankfully, we had a brilliant party. I started the magic in the bar area, much to the amazement of other guests who wondered what was happening. I continued in the dining room where a terrific swing band were playing. I had a wonderful night thank you. Look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Fylde College Christmas Ball

I will be performing at Fylde College's Christmas Ball on Thursday at The Norbreck Castle Blackpool. Fylde have always been a good audience and I am looking forward to meeting them again.

Muncaster Castle

I've just returned from a wedding at Muncaster Castle in Cumbria. What a wonderful venue for a wedding, a castle dating from 1280 a.d. and the grounds are picturesque. I was performing magic for the guests while the 'photos were being taken. The only trouble with weddings is that I never seem to get much time with the bride and groom as they are so busy with other things. Still, the guests were happy and that is what I was booked for. I just have time to get changed to go to Crow's restaurant for this evening.

Cartmel Update

It was late when I got up this morning after Cartmel College's party at the Winter Gardens. What a great night, everyone in a good party mood and lots of interest in the magic. I have worked for Cartmel before and always found a great audience, thanks guys!
